Join your neighbors for an evening of stargazing high above Hardwick on the peak evening of the Perseid Meteor Shower! Arrive between 8 and 9 PM to check out the sky with local star enthusiasts and their telescopes.
At nine, we will broadcast Mark Breen’s Stargazing Party live! He will walk us through the night sky.
This event is co-sponsored by the Hardwick Trails and the library. Street Treats VT will be on-site with ice cream to purchase! The event will be held at the Shepards’ place at 708 Bridgman Hill Road.
The site is accessible; there is plenty of parking, including accessible spots, and restroom facilities will be available. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blanket to sit on, and flashlights or headlamps if you would like!
